ABSTRACT: Hexane extracts from a series of Sarawak plants were screened for larvicidal activity. The plants were from the genera Goniothalamus, Disepalum and Mezzetia. Some of these extracts were cytotoxic to the mosquito larvae of Aedes aegypti and had LC50 values mostly less than 200 ug/ml.
